The WAD (Swiss Walkyrie Advanced Defender) is a new generation multi-role UAV platform designed to deliver high flexibility, precision, and operational resilience. Designed to ultimately cover a range from 4 to 25 kg. The WAD enables rapid deployment and can be equipped with a variety of payloads — including systems for secure recovery.
With vertical or horizontal canister launch capability, WAD can approach target zones swiftly and discreetly—without using its onboard propulsion—ensuring silent insertion and tactical surprise.

Dual Launch Modes
Thanks to its launch canister, SWAD is designed for deployment from multiple platforms and in various orientations, depending on the drone configuration and mission objectives. It is capable of executing kamikaze missions or returning for a safe landing.

Energy-Conserving Insertion
Initial launch does not consume onboard energy, preserving flight time and extending mission reach.

VTOL & Safe Recovery
Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) capability allows WAD to operate from a wide range of terrains. Its design enables smooth landings and safe recovery, minimizing wear and reducing the risk of damage.
